Her Brain's Daily Churn is an online journal (and sister site to A Culturalist's Musings, negarraaklikudumu.com) created and curated by me and offering a gander into the very crowded space located between my ears. Part visual, part written, here I share the bits and pieces art, politics and technology that I consume on a daily basis. Want to connect? Check the social links below.

They span age and income groups, are largely apolitical, and are mostly white. They are also getting more active.
This being apolitical is concerning especially if the goal of this network of protests is to move into a full-fledged movement. OWS has clearly proven that apolitical people can easily be galvanized for protest but are they interested in sustaining a movement? If they aren’t then the end of OWS is, could be, nigh. A less bleak outlook might be that if they can be galvanized for protest, then maybe they can also be united around a platform. The caveat is that they may suffer from protest fatigue before a platform emerges.
We’ll see. Winter is coming.
